SCIENTIFIC EXHIBITION: VOLCANOES - FIRE FROM THE EARTH

The exhibit “Volcanoes - Fire from the Earth”, that took place at the Natural History Museum in Milano, in 2003, was the firth big event organized in Italy, focused on this fascinating phenomenon with a specific and scientific didactic aiming at introducing people to the amazing world of the mountains of fire. The event was organized under the Patronage of the Municipality of Milan, the Natural History Museum, and the Italian Association of Scientific Museums. 
 
After the 2003 event in Milano, the exhibit went to Trieste (north-eastern Italy) in September, for the scientific exhibit called ERA. From march 12th to June 5t, 2005 was displayed at the Science Museum of Pordenone (north-eastern Italy; from October 8th till November 6th, 2005, it was at the Natural History Museum, in Morbegno (Sondrio, northern Italy. With a brand new setting studied on purpose, and and the title "Volcanic!" it was displayed at the Natural History Museum in Bolzano (north-eastern Italy) from October 10th, 2006 until the end of June 2007. In October 2010, the exhibit was set up in the Auditoruim of the Bank BCC of Barlassina (Milano), with school lessons all day long and an evening conference. The exhibit was on the Alexander Hall in Cortina d'Ampezzo (Dolomites), from August 3rd till Septempre 28th.
